Brunswick Man Indicted for Alleged Rape and Assault on Minor Girl

Formal Charges Filed in Brunswick Assault Case

Authorities have formally charged a man accused of breaking into an apartment in Brunswick and sexually assaulting a minor girl in March. Glynn County Superior Court is handling the case.

Indictments for Multiple Offenses

Additionally, five men face indictments in separate incidents involving shootings, armed robbery, and gang-related activities.

Charges Against Troy Rogers III

Troy Rogers III now faces multiple charges, including rape, aggravated child molestation, child molestation, and first-degree burglary. Prosecutors allege that Rogers forcibly entered an apartment on Albany Street in Brunswick and used a baseball bat to assault a teenage girl under the age of 15.

While authorities held Rogers at the Glynn County Detention Center, they also charged him with assaulting and obstructing police officers on multiple occasions.

Roderick Da’nel West Indicted

In another case, Roderick Da’nel West faces four counts of aggravated assault. These charges stem from an incident on April 23, when West allegedly fired multiple shots into a vehicle occupied by two women at 213 Poplar Street in Glynn County. The women escaped and sought help at an auto parts store on Community Road, where they called 911. Two counts of aggravated assault relate to the shooting, while the other two connect to West allegedly crashing his vehicle into the women’s car.

Indictments for Pinkston and Hall

Verdez Kishun Pinkston and Jerome Hall face charges in a firearm-related case. On March 10, they allegedly robbed a man and assaulted him with a pistol. Both face charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Additionally, Pinkston received an indictment in March for his role in an incident on April 5, 2022. Authorities accuse him of fleeing from Glynn County police after a shooting in the Arco neighborhood and failing to seek immediate medical care for a female juvenile in the car with him after she was shot.

Charges Against Michael Deron Farrow

The Grand Jury has indicted Michael Deron Farrow on various charges, including violating state gang laws, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Authorities accuse Farrow of shooting into a residence occupied by five women in Glynn County. The indictment claims he did so to further his status within the 2LUV subset of the criminal street gang Growth and Development.
